Recently, our company’s general manager and key business personnel embarked on a dedicated business trip to São Paulo, Brazil. The core objective of this visit was to strengthen ties with our long-term strategic partner Qualidade TC Auto Técnica Ltda. We conducted on-site research on demands within Brazil’s automotive aftermarket, and held all-round negotiations on the supply of connectors, terminals and seals, product-line expansion as well as long-term localized supply plans, paving a solid pathway for future business growth for both parties.
TC Chicotes is a leading domestic Brazilian auto-parts enterprise with nearly 30 years of industry experience. Founded in 1996 in São Paulo, it manages global procurement and market expansion. It ranks as Brazil’s largest professional wiring-harness manufacturer for the automotive aftermarket and holds a leading position in the niche repair-harness sector. Supported by mature mould-making techniques and rigorous quality-control protocols, TC has built a sterling nationwide reputation. Local automotive technicians widely acknowledge that its aftermarket wiring harnesses and connectors match OEM-grade quality. Many connector components carry original-equipment logos, compatible with American-, European-, Japanese-model passenger vehicles, plus domestic agricultural machinery and commercial vehicles, earning it an unrivalled market standing.
Brazil features a fragmented vehicle landscape with competing automotive brands. TC has high requirements for mould precision and full-set multi-vehicle application packages, which perfectly aligns with our one-stop supply capability and brings massive potential for further business expansion.
The meeting proceeded in a cordial atmosphere. Both teams reviewed our long-standing stable supply partnership. We exhibited newly-developed connector prototypes, optimised seal structures and standardised terminal solutions on-site. TC’s procurement and technical teams tested product compatibility, dimensional accuracy and sealing durability item-by-item. Technical improvement ideas were shared focusing on two high-growth segments: agricultural-machine wiring-harness connectors and commercial-vehicle lamp-holder connectors. The discussion extended beyond conventional procurement-and-sales talks to long-term strategic planning. Both sides agreed to raise current order volumes and launch a new dedicated connector line for agricultural and construction machinery. Additional practical topics were covered, including joint adaptation for newly-released Brazilian car models, co-development of custom connector kits, and improvements to cross-border logistics and lead-times. During work breaks, Chinese and Brazilian colleagues shared industry anecdotes and market-operation experience across the automotive-repair sector. This bridged geographical gaps and deepened mutual trust.
This Brazil-based business trip stands as a milestone in our cooperation. On one hand, the in-person visit granted us first-hand insights into real-world aftermarket demands, procurement benchmarks and product-related pain-points of top-tier Brazilian manufacturers, guiding targeted R&D and custom-tailored supply services. On the other hand, we further cemented our years-long strategic alliance with TC Chicotes and secured steady long-term bulk-order growth. Drawing on Rui’an’s complete automotive-connector industrial-chain strengths, the two firms will continue to collaborate. We will deliver cost-effective, high-precision electrical-connection solutions for vehicle-repair markets across Brazil and the broader South-American region, jointly tapping the trillion-dollar blue-ocean automotive aftermarket in Latin America and further advancing our global supply-chain layout.
